They usually begin by giving advice to the architects concerning design and layout, and then following through to the details of the project with dampers and vent layouts. Another Great Job from Van Drunen, this time Mike comes in and replaces a dirty wheel on my Blower and does an awesome job on cleaning my furnace and A coil. My furnace was tripping when it had to climb more than 2 degrees due to the dirt. Now it can climb all day without tripping. Thanks Guys!

The furnace at my residence failed and the temperature fell to 62 degrees. I called for service. At about 9 30 AM. The office staff was most efficient and advised they would arrange to have a technician come over for assistance. Within an hour, they called back to advise a technician was enrolled. The technician found the problem and advised that a gas valve failed and needed replacement. He advised that he had the part in his truck and told me up-front what the repair would cost. I authorized the repair and my furnace was working within 45 an hour.

Everyone from the office staff to the technician were very friendly and professional. I have used Van Drunen in the past for installation, ductwork and preventive maintenance for my heating and air conditioning and continue to be a very satisfied customer. Van Drunen air conditioning company was excellent in installing a new A/C air handler in my attic, other company gave quotes & explained they had to tear the ceiling out to installed a new air handler, Eric came out explained what was to be done (which he used existing opening &enlarged it) Upon arriving at my home Justin & Doug came (was on time) covered the floors and when I tell you they cleaned up after themselves was unbelievable you couldn’t tell they had did any work very impressive. The work was done in April which was still cold out when the middle of May it started to get hot it’s wasn’t cooling Justin came out to fill with freon because they couldn’t tell how much was needed during the cold weather. I called back because it still wasn’t cooling & he couldn’t explain & said Keith would call which I thought Keith never called & I was upset but fortunately he did leave voicemail which I didn’t see until weeks later, I’m saying all this to let you know the people @ company are reliable & my air is working fine. It was a new thermostat I wasn’t use to using @ I had to give it time to cool the house down. I truly recommend this company for service.

P.s. The company also sent an Appreciation gift card to thank me for using & trusting there company. I’m impressed.

Last fall and this spring they replaced everything for us. Furnace, air conditioner, removed the humidifier and replaced it with a dehumidifier for our moisture issue, iwave system, and water heater. They even fixed one of our water pipes that had corroded. They were fast, friendly, 100% transparent about pricing (no games or bait and switch), quotes were professional and not pushy. I don’t think we will need anything for a while given everything we replaced but if we need any maintenance in the future they will be my first choice.

My AC went out on a very warm Sunday. I called Van Drunen and Keith came out immediately and gave me an estimate, he also assisted me with financing. My HVAC was installed a week later. The installers were on time had a great attitude, and they were very professional. Our installation was smooth and done correctly; they cleaned up behind themselves and hauled the old HVAC system away. We also had air return vents installed on our second floor; there was no damage to my walls or repair work needed are the vents were installed. If your upstairs is too warm don’t skip this step, because installing these vents made a lot of difference and are worth every dime we spent.

I apologize in advance for the long Review. However, I wanted to share my entire experience regarding Van Drunen Heating.
My Air Conditioner (Lennox) had to be replaced after 31 years. I contacted Van Drunen Heating who scheduled a Technician to come to my home to diagnose my current system. I made a wise decision to purchase a new Unit. I then made an appointment for a Sales Representative (Keith) to give me an estimate for a new air conditioner. He also informed me that they apply for the “Work Permit”. After, I gave the okay to purchase a new system, a Technician was than scheduled 24 hours later to come install my new air conditioner. Eric the Technician arrived the next morning. He was very professional, knowledgeable and explained the entire installation process from start to finish. I was very pleased with the Excellent Customer Service I received from Eric and Van Drunen Heating. When Eric completed the installation of my new air conditioner and new Thermostat, (which was included), he then explained and showed me how to properly operate the new Thermostat which controlled the air conditioner and furnace. I was very pleased and satisfied with the entire installation process of my new air conditioner.
I Highly recommend Van Drunen Heating for all your Heating and Air Conditioner Services. They are a very Professional and Sincere Company who puts the Customer first.

This could really be a long post, but I will keep it brief. This has been the greatest experience for me. I contacted Van Drunen last week about an issue with my central air unit. They came out the next day. A couple of days later I experienced the same problem, and it was determined that I needed a new C/A unit. Two days later the unit was installed to perfection. A couple of days after that I began having issues again and they returned immediately and resolved the issue. Now all is well. I appreciate their promptness in handling my problem being that it was the week of 90 plus degree temperatures. All of the guys were great…. Eric (my first contact) was so easy to do business with. I am glad I took the advice of many other people and chose Van Drunen. They are my go-to for HVAC service from now on. Forever grateful to them.

My water heater was leaking. I knew it had to be replaced.I called VAN DRUNEN at 7:a.m. the agent was very cheerful and courteous. She quickly transfered me to Keith and he was able to place me on his schedule for today. Mike, the technician arrived as promised. Mike was professional and explained the installation. The process went as planned. After completion, Mike removed the old water heater and took it away for disposal. Mike also explained the codes. The technician at Van Drunen did a great job identifying and repairing my 3 1/2 year old air conditioning system. A defective coil was responsible for losing all of its freon. The company that installed it (Four Seasons) said that I voided their 12 year warranty because I did not have it cleaned and maintained every year. They wanted over $2000 (a discounted price) to do a leak check and said I would be responsible for parts and labor to do any repairs. Van Drunen did the leak check for less than a quarter of that amount and honored the manufacturers warranty on the coil. Van Drunen was great to work with. I will definitely use them in the future.

February 2026:

Wanted to leave a second review. I woke up to a cold house and a furnace that wasn’t heating during the weekend (of all days). It was trying to click on, but it made a humming noise. I had a feeling that this wasn’t normal so I gave Van Drunen Heating a call. They had a technician come out the same day and he determined it was the draft inducer. Although no one likes to hear “it’ll be a costly repair,” I was just glad to hear I didn’t need a new furnace or a new heat exchanger. Ricky was out to put the new part in this afternoon and now my house is heating again! Thank you, Ricky! Will be calling again if I need you guys, otherwise I’ll see you guys at my next cleaning!

I reached out to Van Drunen Heating & Air Conditioning a few months ago and asked them to install a whole-house ventilation system–specifically an ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilator)–in my home. Besides the touted health benefits of an ERV, I hoped to mitigate the radon level in my house after a recent test showed a reading of 8 pCi/L. The unit–a Healthy Climate ERV–was installed last week by Dan–one of their techs with 25 years of experience. Dan was very accommodating with me as I am very particular and interacted with him for the first hour and a quarter as I wanted a clean installation with a good appearance. Dan did not disappoint! By the end of the day the unit was beautifully installed and quietly running.. Within one day the radon level dropped to 2.0. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you, Dan and the Van Drunen team!

Called vandrunenheating for a second opinion after the first company said we had to replace the duck work and put in new cold returns .the owner of van drunken came out check every thing came out I didn’t need new duck work the two guys that came out to replace my air conditioning and furnace were supper nice very respectful and did a supper job I would recommend VAN DRUNKEN VERY HAPPY

We called Van Drunen for a second opinion on our Amana compressor unit after another company attempted repairs and suggested we replace the unit. Van Drunen sent Justin out within a few hours after my call. Justin quickly diagnosed a wiring issue, assured me he’d be able to complete the repairs, and then promptly fixed the unit. I was expecting the worst – having to replace the unit – and am now cooling off with my existing machine. I’ll be calling Van Drunen when it is time to replace!

From out first quote with Eric, to installation with Derek and Dan, this was such an easy process. Van Drunen Heating & A/C installed our original furnace and air conditioner back in 1989 when we switched from electric heat in the ceiling to a gas furnace and new A/C. We had excellent service from our furnace which I still have-it needed very little maintenance and now the replacement of the A/C. Van Drunen actually took care of it while I was out of town. They are a very trustworthy company. I am happy to recommend them and the products they carry.

Our air conditioning stopped working, Keith came right out on Monday morning for a quote. We were concerned about no A/C because our son was having surgery the next day and would be in a cast 4 to 6 wks. The next day they had someone out to install a new Lennox A/C. This company has installed a Lennox furnace before for us and are always honest, professional, and hard working. Thank you so much!!

From our initial meeting with Keith to determine what we needed to the installation by Bill we found the experience to be exceptional. Courteous, Knowledgeable, Punctual, and Informative to name a few of their attributes. Bill discovered that improper wiring by our HOA from our A/C to the association sprinkler system was drawing power away from the A/C unit which could void our new warranty and just as importantly , found bird nest material in the exhaust that was forcing carbon monoxide back into our basement which was definitely a health hazard. They could have installed the unit and left but you could tell they cared and as a result we have a fully warranted system and a carbon monoxide-free system as well.

They usually begin by giving advice to the architects concerning design and layout, and then following through to the details of the project with dampers and vent layouts. I’ve been in my home for over 16 years from the first year of service that I’ve had from Van Drunen Heating. From the first year, the Van Drunen service has always been A1. Apparently, I had one of the old, old models of Lennox and it didn’t fail me…So, of course when it was time to upgrade there was no question Lennox it was. I’m more than pleased!!
